Tax planning is for those who want to get ahead of the game, and not simply "play defense" during the tax filing season. We take a look at what your projected return would be, and we give you things to do before year-end to abide by the code ... to your advantage. Contact us if you're interested in playing offense this year.
Even avid budgeters need a refresher every now and then. There are some really practical and doable tips here.
Can we get some Amens, LOLs, or Likes on this one? Come on, we know you agree. (Now for the record, using a professional like us to help you with your taxes eliminates the "guessing" portion of the equation, but nevertheless, this did make us chuckle.)
Thinking of starting a business? Consider these legal needs and be prepared. (We can help you with #1 in particular.)
Happy Administrative Professionals Day! All of you in this field will appreciate this one.
"Your present circumstances don't determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start." - Nido Qubein There have been so many great influencers out there who had less-than-shiny beginnings. Today is the best day to start anew -- toward your financial goals and your life dreams.

Extension-filers: Remember, an "Extension of Time to File" is not an "Extension of Time to Pay", unfortunately. The extension simply gives you an automatic six months of additional time to get your paperwork together and file that return. But, if you owe more than what you paid with your estimate, you'll be accumulating penalties and interest on the difference -- so don't take the entire six months to do this!
Maine and Massachusetts: Today is your day. Consider this your FINAL REMINDER to get your paperwork in or extension filed.
Congratulations, friends. After today, you get to "keep" everything you earn.
You (we) made it to Tax Day. Whew! Make sure and grab up some of these freebies and discounts that are valid today. As for us, we're still busy at it. (And now accepting encouraging words, happy thoughts, hot coffee, yummy treats, and high fives.)
We all need a good laugh (especially our office at this time of year!) so give us a shout-out in the comments if you agree with this one and will be avoiding jail this year. "We'll try to cooperate fully with the IRS, because, as citizens, we feel a strong patriotic duty not to go to jail." - Dave Barry
