From the Desk of Chaplain Edwin J. Carroll II of the DAV chapter 26: (I have something on my heart that I wanted to let you all know about.) We live in a world full of technology and instant gratification, we don’t take the time to stop and smell the roses. ... Please, don’t let your fast-paced lifestyle stop you from praying, reading your bible, or talking to God. Spend time alone with God, where no one else can interrupt you. A quiet place where you can hear from the Holy Spirit and where you can lay down your troubles and frustrations. Whatever it may be. Let God help you deal with the sinful world we live in. I promise you, if you do this every day, you will find that you will be happier and much more fulfilled. We need to remember that we are children of a mighty God, a great and loving King, Who will protect His own. You must trust and have faith and believe in your Father in heaven. Always make time for God, He will help you get through your day and give you true joy and peace! (May God keep you and walk and talk and shine his light on you in the dark places you must go) Amen

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13 KJV This Veterans Day, we thank and celebrate those who took and ...upheld the oath. "I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

THINK ABOUT THIS FOR A SECOND IF YOU AREN'T CLOSED MINDED! Create a VIRUS to scare people. Place them in quarantine. Count the number of dead every second of ev...ery day in every news headline. Close all businesses. 40,000,000 out of jobs. Peak unemployment. Remove entertainment: parks, gyms, bars, restaurants, sports. No dating. No touching. No weddings. No reunions. No socials. Mask people. Dehumanize them. Close temples and churches. Let depression, anxiety and desperation set in. THEN... ignite hatred and civil war. Civil unrest. Empty the prisons because of the virus and fill the streets with criminals. Send in Antifa to vandalize property as if they are freedom fighters. Undermine the law. Loot. Attack law enforcement, but tell government to order a stand-down. We are all being baited by an adversarial government who wants to destroy America - And in an election year, have Democrats blame all of it on the President. Can’t take America in a war, destroy it from within. We are being conditioned, manipulated, and programmed by multiple agendas as never before.....time to DO OUR OWN RESEARCH and MAKE UP OUR OWN MINDS rather than eating everything being spoon-fed to us! SOCIAL MEDIA & News via television are going to kill us! If you love America, our Constitution, and the Rule of Law, fight for them! Copied and pasted. Do the same and share please! See more

From the Desk of Chaplain Edwin J. Carroll II of the DAV chapter 26: God Uses Failures It doesn’t matter whether we agree or disagree, like or not, God uses failures that have come back to the cross. God will and does receive the outcast. I look at the lepers; the publicans and harlots; the sinful woman; the despised sinner; the dying thief; Noah got drunk; Abraham lied about his wife; lot craved the things this world; David committed adultery and murder; Samson failed. I could go on and one of the failures that God used. As a Chaplain let us try to be or do well, but if we fail, get up and ask God to forgive us, and try again. God loves to use rejects to let the religious world know He is still God.

To Chapter 26 DAV members, A few months ago at our last DAV meeting, there was a problem with certain members of Chapter 26. There was a misunderstanding and certain people tried to take control of Chapter 26. They tried to bypass the articles and by-laws to take control. It was felt that certain members were trying to take control of the meeting so they could control the money and use it for their own personal agenda. It was felt that these members were not acting on their o...wn, but on behalf of other members in the DAVA. They tried to take leadership from the current Commander. Thankfully it did not happen, but we feel they that they will try again when we have another meeting. We need to remember why we attend these DAV meetings; it’s a place where we are supposed to work together for the good of all members and not just certain ones. I am calling on all members of Chapter 26 to show up to the next meeting and help us put this group back to where it should be. We need to restore the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 26 group back to helping those veterans that need our services. See more
