Intensive family engagement is critical to the work we do. As a core feature of the #Educare model, we recognize its importance to the success of our high-quality programs and understand the value effective family engagement efforts bring to Educare. During dismissal today, we hosted a family engagement fair for our families to learn about our #virtual parenting workshops and resources available through our Family Resource Center, get to know our local evaluation partners, and our children even received their very own #Educare t-shirt from our Director of Educare Programs! Yesterday's reopening buzzed with excitement as children met one another and engaged with indoor and outdoor learning spaces, enthusiastically manipulating materials in symbolic play and exploring nature in our new gardens. Many thanks to the educators who thoughtfully created signs to greet families and run through our new health safety procedures in anticipation of our reopening. It's wonderful to have children and families back on campus, and we look forward to slowly welcoming more of you back here soon! The process will be gradual so that we can do it right and as safely as possible.
