As promised, we bring you the most current update regarding our Contra Costa Health Services, and how they will affect Ed’s Mudville Grill and Moresi’s Chophouse. As you may have heard, Contra Costa (as well as surrounding counties, have decided that the plan set forth by Governor Newsom yesterday was unsatisfactory in their plan to help halt the COVID-19 Pandemic. Here is the press release giving all of the details: https://cchealth.org/press-r//1204-Joint-Press-Release.pd...f Cliff’s Notes version, the Regional Stay at Home orders will be pushed ahead immediately, rather than waiting for the less than 15% capacity ICU yaddayaddayadda. This means Contra Costa County will begin the Stay At Home mandate starting on Sunday, December 6 (Alameda on the 7th, Marin on the 8th), and ending on January 4th (tentatively. It’s a new flippin’ thing every day. But, that’s the plan as of this writing). That mean Ed’s Mudville Grill and Moresi’s Chophouse (all restaurants in CCC) will revert back to takeout only beginning on Sunday, December 6th at 10 p.m. (so, Monday the 7th, we’ll be closed by 10 p.m. ) As upsetting and frustrating as this is, the best and most healthy thing we can do is trust that this move is for the best, put on a happy face and send out positive vibes (it’s the holidays, man), and play the hand we’re dealt, which means being the best gosh darn takeout version of the Ed’s Mudville Grill and Moresi’s Chophouse you love You’ve been here for us through this awful terrain, and we’ll be here for you when this road ends.
