El Cajon Valley High School and Champions for Health nurses are offering a FREE drive thru flu shot clinic on January 21st from 10 am - 2 pm for our community. This is a partnership with the County of San Diego Health and Human Services and United Healthcare. Flu shots will be available for anyone 4 years and older. If you need your flu shot, drive on over to the front parking lot on Thursday, January 21st between 10 am - 2 pm. Families do not need to get out of their cars. Families do not need to have medical insurance and there is no cost. This event is open to all members of our community, so feel free to share!

Financial help is still available to El Cajon residents struggling to pay past due rent or utility bills. Earlier this year, the City contracted with the local ...non-profit, Home Start, to distribute Federal CARES Act funds for El Cajon residents who have lost income due to COVID-19. These funds can be used to pay rent or utility expenses such as electricity, water, or sewer bills. Both homeowners and renters may be eligible for assistance with utility bills. See more
