Easter is the celebration of the risen light of the divine in human form. In other words, a fully, bodily, human being who even dies, is transformed into divinity itself. The tendency is to ascribe all this wonder to Jesus Christ as the Son of God and therefore, of course he can do all things. But the Gnostics and a few mystics recognized that this also means that the human form is no longer an obstacle to the divine. We too can be fully human and divine. Christ here is our elder brother leading the way. Let us also rise from the tomb of self judgement and the limitation of the past, and discover the rising light of Divine Life within ourselves and each other.
