Hi Ebe, Pastor Ruby here. I’m observing Good Friday a little different this year so in place of our Healing Nights on FB Live, I am sharing some reflective prayers for you to be still with and observe today on Good Friday. Take your time. Let each one speak to you and allow yourself to write, color, be, pray, meditate, or however you’d like to engage with each one.... Remember that the suffering on The Cross is an invitation of healing that comes from The Holy One who deeply loves us. #GoodFriday

We could all use some intentional time to reflect, slow down, and tend to our hearts. When we do this, it sustains us to continue our work of love within us and around us. Join us tonight right here on this page! Bring your crayons, colored pencils, or colored pens & a blank piece of paper. Show up as you are!

Hey fam, We will not be having a live Prayer session tonight. This does not stop the active Prayer taking place. Please comment below or message privately for any Prayer that is needed! Also, we invite you to check out the content already posted on the page (either past Prayer sessions, sermons, or musical Worship-- especially ones you may have missed). We Love y'all so much and look forward to sharing time together!

Plotting out small business opportunity for our friends on the streets in partnership with our friends at @Access and The University of San Diego. When lives change, culture changes. When culture changes we can all fight together towards policy shifts #LetsShakeTheWorld

We freeze these gatorades and our friends who are themselves still experiencing homelessness take them on the streets to serve their friends and pray for them. It is a beautiful, dignifying entry point ministry So yeah. Tithe in gatorades. Bring a lot of it. More importantly make a commitment to bring gatorade once a month or something

A Quick Story by Pastor Noel Last night I was sitting in a session (online) where my friend Sarah Strong was leading a workshop for a group of local college students that we hired for the semester to help families in our neighborhood navigate education in the Covid season. Sarah, a mathematician by trade, was teaching the tutors on how to think about math and how to tutor it. Yes. Math at church. ... Then it donned to me that many kids in our neighborhood make conclusions about self-worth based on whether they can or cannot understand this subject. So it is not a stretch then to say math is an everyday theological issue. And that this and and reading have to be part of our neighborhood advocacy. Then it donned to me that brilliant minds like Sarah often don’t have space within church discourse to offer their finest ministry. It’s incredible. Sarah spoke in that room with such passion as if she has been having a conversation with the Lord about math. And I think it is because she has. Today I stand amazed imagining what we as a community can become if we give ourselves permission to rethink church. If church became less of a weekly meeting and more of ordinary radicals who are inspired by the spirit of the Lord to stand in our communities’ most critical gaps. And you know math is a critical gap. And no. This does not mean that we have to start a Christian school because leaving families behind who need us to live our most creative lives would be unchristian. Bye for now. Pastor Noel
