Easy Does It Books & Gifts

So stoked to announce that at 3:08 this afternoon, Long Beach's Mayor Garcia approved the complete opening of retail stores in Long Beach!!! This includes Easy... Does It Books & Gifts! We will still need to adhere to some fairly strict guidelines, including, when you shop at the Easy Does It... Please wear a face covering. Please distance yourself at least 6' from others. Please disinfect your hands before you come in. If you don't have sanitizer, I will provide you with some as soon as you enter the store. I have been waiting nearly 2 months for this announcement, and I am so looking forward to seeing you all in the near future.

I've had a number of calls re: the City of Long Beach's decree regarding closing retail establishments. I have emailed the Mayor's office to get some clarification on this matter. In the meantime, I personally am at the store. I know this is allowed. You can feel free to call me to place an order which I can ship the next day. (562) 621-1042 I am asking the Mayor's Office if I can be allowed to have a sort of "curbside pick-up" like restaurants do. Still waiting for his response. So call anytime to place an order, or to ask questions, or for an understanding ear. I remain here for our community to the degree to which I am allowed. In the meantime, please be safe, be healthy, be kind and keep the faith.

I just made my Easy Does It Books & Gifts deposit for last week. Much to my surprise, a $100.00 bill was rejected as counterfeit. This bill was used to make a purchase last week at the store. As you may or may not know, when this happens the bank confiscates the bill and the merchant (me) is out the hundred bucks. Quite honestly, I can't afford this type of loss. As a result, I am requesting that my customers no longer use $100.00 bills at the store. ... If you MUST, then please be prepared to provide me with your California Driver's License, your phone number and your email address. Remember, I judge no man, though i am keenly observant.
