Wow, just in the 3 hours since we posted an update on our fundraising page, we've already received $2,815 to support Bay Area water protectors traveling up to support the Line 3 resistance movement! Thank you all so much for your love and support! Check out the link if you would like to support as well. We are prioritizing making this trip accessible to BIPOC folks, leaving money behind at the Indigenous led camps in Minnesota who are leading the movement, and subsidizing travel costs for other members of our 2 upcoming delegations (close to 25 people!).

Check out this video, "Emergency," particularly related to police violence - by Benjamin Mertz, a very charismatic and powerful songleader, with strong roots in the gospel tradition, who lives in the East Bay. Many thanks to Jean Farmer for the share! ""Emergency" is a love letter to everyone who is oppressed, afraid, struggling, or unsafe in their own neighborhood. It is a love message to anyone who has felt their hearts fading in their chest. Most importantly, "Emergency" is dedicated to all of those who have died too young, especially those killed by state violence." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8K-Y2UjpOIM&feature=youtu.be

On Christmas day of 1967, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave us this heartfelt sermon to remind us of our interdependence and to our relationship with each other. An important reminder as we transition into a new year.
