East Oakland Swim Club

The Opportunity is now for Summer Lifeguard Employment. The City of Oakland thru Oakland Parks and Recreation is offering Lifeguard Training for our Youngstars. Discount for OUSD Students. Lifeguarding is a great experience for our Youngstars as well as they are helping the Community, Developing Leadership Skills, and Start at $15.00 per hour. Lifeguard Certificates are Valid for (2) years.

East Oakland Swim Club would like to give a Special Thanks to the Organizations and Agency's that have helped us serve Children and Families of our East Oakland Community in this important resource. The Administration and Support of the Vision at Castlemont High School, The Leadership at Alameda County Health Dept thru it's various Agency's Lotus Bloom and Best Babies Zone, Friends of Oakland Parks and Recreation and Oakland Parks and Recreation Summer Youth Swim League, each of you played a vital roll in our East Oakland Youngstars learning to Swim this Summer in East Oakland. The Youngstars and Families of East Oakland and East Oakland Swim Club say thank you.

I had been paying for my son to have swim class and he didn't really learn how to swim, but came to East Oakland swim club and my baby can now go to 7 ft thank you guys so much for taking the time out and teaching our kids you all are so appreciated
