Happy New Year's everyone. May one of your new years resolutions involve making speeches and improving your public speaking. The best way to improve is to practice.

Tomorrow's meeting, January 31st, will be the culmination of East End Orator's Speechcraft series. I am looking forward to witnessing the five individuals who have committed themselves these last few weeks to improving thier speaking skills. Come visit and hopefully witness five future members of East End Orators.

Todays meeting was the first of East End Orators Speechcraft series. Our own President, Sarita Lee, gave a wonderful speech on how to choose a speech topic. Five guests are participating in the series with experienced Toastmasters as mentors. Next weeks meeting the guests will be presenting their Icebreakers.
