Growing pains. Sometimes growth is subtle other times it feels more intense. Right now it feels intense for me, for many it seems. Today marks the halfway point between our back to back eclipses. The energy is amplified and eclipses bring endings as well as new beginnings. Usually I am excited to work the energy of the cosmos, this time I just want to crawl into bed. I know I can’t stay there long. Things have been coming up for me - old thought patterns, deeply rooted emoti...ons on top of feeling the energy of the collective. It has all been rising to the surface. I have had to sit with my shadows, which isn’t ever easy to do. It’s uncomfortable, it feels heavy. Yet it is where my medicine is. I know the only way out is through. And the thing about shadows is once you shed a light on them, they no longer exist. That’s not to say there will never be shadows, of course there will. Yesterday was full of gratitude. To be able to visit with loved ones and bask in the beauty of this world is something I will always hold in my heart. As we awoke this morning we discovered that my car was broken into. My window was completely shattered and items were stolen. As heavy as that felt, today is still filled with gratitude. Gratitude for good health and the safety of my precious family. Although things were taken from us, those things are replaceable. My gratitu...de and love are things that can never be stolen I am thankful for my spiritual practices to help me move through difficult emotions and heavy energies. Today marks the end of a 4 month journey I have been on with 6 other amazing souls. A journey of learning, healing, deep inner work, teaching, connection and growth. We all had the gift of supporting and being supported by each other. Growing up I was more interested in playing outside than with make-up. I always had more guy friends, than girlfriends. Some of you have been asking what it is that I do... Short answer: Although I am what is considered to be a healer, I believe we each have the power and potential to heal ourselves. I am a conduit to connect you to your own healing, especially when it comes to shadow work. This can be seen as any limiting beliefs, old programming and blockages. ... I practice Energy Work, more specifically I am a certified Reiki master and Shamanic practitioner. My practice encompasses these modalities as well as my background as a yoga instructor. Plus, I am extremely drawn to the Moon’s wisdom! I often hold Moon Ceremonies to work with the energy of each particular cycle. Each individual session is a little different depending on your particular needs. To more effectively help others heal, I also have to heal myself. It is a constant work in progress and a lifelong journey. Sitting with discomfort is rarely easy, but it is where our most profound healing takes place. There is medicine in your shadows. Today I got to experience something I have always wanted to do! The fear, excitement, and connection to our beautiful surroundings was everything and more My fam had our own raft which was also the rescue raft, meaning we had to lead the way over class 4 rapids and help rescue anyone who fell out of their own rafts. One raft completely flipped over, everyone fell out and we braced ourselves as they came down the river towards us! We worked as a team and rescued 3 panic str...icken people out of the river. It all happened so fast! I am proud of myself for being able to help complete strangers in their moments of fear. I was courageous and calm. Our guide was the BEST!
