February's Bulletin Board of the Month Recognition goes to our Infant Classroom 1 (Valentine's Day Theme). 4 month to 9 month old children participated in this art activity. Their teachers sprinkled some paint on construction paper and allowed the infants to enjoy and explore the sensory fun of feeling the cold paint.

Here at ELCA, Portfolios are completed at the end of each month by the child's teacher. Monthly Portfolios/Developmental Assessments are essential to our Preschool Program; it allows the teachers to document the progress and achievements of the children, helps adapt curriculum to match the developmental needs of each child and to evaluate the lessons effectiveness.
