As a sort of public service, we're hosting a workshop to help us think about the Future of Education amid the pandemic. Covid-19 has accelerated many of the trends that will shape the future of education. Teachers have been forced to re-invented the way that classrooms are run and how students engage with learning and break-neck speed. Although the pandemic has brought on many challenges, it’s also forcing us to re-think the way that many of our institutions are run from the ...ground up. We’ll begin with a discussion on key trends that will impact the future of education. Then, we’ll roll up our sleeves and co-create visions for the future using science fiction narratives. These science fiction narratives help us create the space to think big, get our vision tangible, and can inspire those coming out of the pandemic to build a better future. We'll be using the workshop outputs to create an illustrated sci-fi short story and host a reading and fireside chat afterwards. If you're interested, feel free to apply!
