There's a lot of different ways to shorten a mane. Pulling is traditionally how it's done but if you have a horse who hates having their mane pulled, or your ho...rses mane is already thin enough so you don't want to thin it any more, then you need another option. There are many ways to shorten a mane and lots of different tools out there. Some options include normal scissors, thinning scissors, razors (or using scissors to razor the mane), old sheering or clipping combs, special knives/blades or other tools with blades in them. In this video I'll show you how you can use thinning scissors and normal scissors to shorten a mane. I've just done it quickly to show you the method, you can spend more time finessing it for the perfect finish. I now have my NTR Plait & Trim Scissors available which are super popular.
