NEWS FLASH!! Dunsmuir Recreation & Parks District Reluctantly Cancels the 2020 Swim Pool Season In the best interest of the greater... Dunsmuir Community’s welfare, the Recreation & Parks District Board of Directors voted unanimously last Night art it’s June Regular Board meeting to CANCEL the 2020 Swim Pool Season The Board reluctantly made the in light of the continuing effects of COVID19 and the increased infections in Siskiyou County. The decision was based on the serious concerns about the health, safety risk and liability for our popular Pool patrons. The District’s mission has always been to provide safe, healthy and fun recreational opportunities & facilities for our youth, families and the many Visitors to our community. Our 1st Annual Halloween Splash to benefit the District’ s Community Pool was a huge Success!! Thank you to all that attended. Dunsmuir Rotary President Wendi Grochol is presenting a check in the amount of $4,105.00 to the District at the Nov. Board meeting. Special Thanks to the Dunsmuir Rotary, Friends of the Pool Community, local Businesses & many individuals that donated items & desserts. Also Keith Cool for the delicious Meal....
