Goodbye 2019, HELLO 2020! . We loved our time off, but definitely missed our Duck Pond community this last week! Who is ready for an exciting new year?! We have some fresh things coming in 2020 and we are so excited for everything that’s happening. Check out what’s going on this week at the Pond . MONDAY | Count Down To Noon!... Doors open at 9:30am and then at 12:00pm the balloons are dropping and we are ringing in the New Year! We are passing out hats and blowers and getting all the littles involved in celebrating! After our noon celebration, stick around for open play until 2:30pm. . TUESDAY | Closed for New Years Eve . WEDNESDAY | Closed for New Years Day . THURSDAY | Bubble Dance Parties Bubbles are back at 11:00am and 1:00pm!!! Join us for dancing and bubble popping! Open play is 9:30am to 2:30pm. . FRIDAY | 1st 25 Kids Receive a Special Gift! Drop in early and grab a pair of the cutest winter mittens for your little duckling! The weathers been turning cold and these will help keep those tiny hands nice and warm! . Let’s ring in the New Year!!! . This Monday, the 30th we have our Count Down to Noon celebration! Join us for hours of open play fun and stick around for the count down! We are passing out hats and blowers and then at noon the BALLOONS DROP!!! We can’t wait to cheer on all the fun things happening this next year. . We will be closed New Years Eve, New Years Day, and then open the 2nd and 3rd! ... . Doors open at 9:30am on Monday! See more

We are winding down for the Holidays this week . December has been a blast! We have been able to share so many fun activities with you and your littles! . This week we are only open on Monday! Come join us for our Christmas Circle Time tomorrow at 11:00am and 1:00pm. Join us as we dance around with the littles and then settle in for story time.... . You helped make a difference this year . Last night the Duck Pond opened up our playspace to host an evening to remember. With your help, we were able to give back and help so many families in need. . We are incredibly thankful for your partnership during this Season of Giving.

Thank you to everyone who partnered with us during our Duck Pond Season of Giving. We are constantly amazed by your generosity. . With your help we are able to make this Christmas extra special for over 200 local Bay Area families in need, and over 40 specific kids, who were sponsored from our Duck Pond Giving Tree. . Thank you again, Duck Pond Families!

Where does our playdough come from? . Duck Pond partners with The Creekside School in San Jose, and their students make it! . Creekside is a nonprofit and private school serving children on the autism spectrum from 1st to 12th grade. They believe that anyone can learn once WE learn how to teach them.... . This school year the 4th-7th graders have been the ones making every colorful, squishy ball of dough, and helping to deliver them to our playspace as part of their life skills training. . It is a privilege to partner with the staff and students at The Creekside School. Their ability to recognize and adapt to each student’s unique differences and create an inclusive environment for learning is truly inspiring. . THAT’S where our playdough comes from. See more
