ELEMENTARY RE-OPENING FORUM - OCT. 12 Superintendent Eimear O’Farrell and Fresno County Department of Public Health officials will discuss Clovis Unified’s elem...entary school waiver application and reopening plan during an Elementary Parent Forum at noon Monday, Oct. 12 online. Clovis Unified families will receive an email Oct. 9 containing updated information regarding learning options and reopening plans for elementary and secondary level students. Clovis Unified has applied for an elementary school waiver to allow students on campus, following required health and safety protocols in a hybrid (part on-site, part at-home) model. Full online will also continue to be offered. Parents and guardians of elementary school children will be asked to review information and complete a survey selecting the learning option for their child by Oct. 16. Secondary school waivers are not yet allowed for intermediate and high schools, and information will be in emails to secondary student families about possible timelines and requirements for that to change.
