Which version appears more feminine, left or right? My beautiful 47 year old patient’s anti aging regimen over the past 3 years has included botox to the upper and lower face to slim down and lift her face, as well as Sculptra to the temples and a little Voluma to the lateral cheeks and to elongate her jawline.

In the spirit of International #DayoftheGirl, these are 10 pieces of advice I would share with me as a little girl that I've learned from the journey : Don't worry so much. Things have a way of turning out how they are supposed to, even if it's hard to appreciate that in the moment. It's not happiness that brings us gratitude, it is gratitude that brings us happiness. Live life from a place of gratitude and you will find happiness. Your dad was right, always remain humble... and kind, despite how others around you might act. We grow in discomfort, so when you feel it, don't resist it as you will only feel it more. Learn to sit with your discomfort, knowing like all things, it too will pass and on the other side you will have grown. You are not responsible for anyone else's happiness. Each of us is responsible for our own. You don't have to lower your standards, but you will have to lower your expectations if you don't want to be left feeling disappointed. Don't define yourself by what you do, where you are from, what you believe, or what you have, it's not WHO you are and always subject to change. Nothing is personal. Read the Four Agreements when you forget. Always make time for your friends. You will enjoy looking back on 20 to 30 years of memories over a glass of wine (maybe a bottle ) Take from your mom. The best adults are those who never lose their childlike wonder. So have fun, laugh a lot, dance when you can, see the world, love passionately and don't take things too seriously! #IDG #IDG2020
