To Our Wonderful Patients, We find ourselves in an unprecedented time of global health concern. Contra Costa County Health Services has enacted a Shelter in Place order and we feel it is our responsibility to our community to adhere to the recommendations put forth. Our office feels that prioritizing the health and safety of our patients and employees is of the utmost importance! After much consideration, we have decided to close our office temporarily, beginning today, M...arch 17, 2020. We feel it is our responsibility as a healthcare facility and team to help "flatten the curve" of infectivity of COVID-19 by promoting social distancing. We are encouraging our patients, as well as our team, to STAY HOME unless absolutely necessary! The sooner we are able to flatten the curve, the sooner we can all return to our normal routines, right?! During our temporary closure, we will be available to our existing patients for any true dental emergencies that may arise. By concentrating on emergency dental care, this will allow us to alleviate some of the burden that dental emergencies would likely place on hospital emergency or urgent care departments. We have been getting a lot of questions about our policy regarding the COVID-19 Virus (Coronavirus) and what precautionary actions we are taking. We thought it would be a good idea to post this, even if you don't have an appointment with us, they are good guidelines to follow when going to any medical offices, schools, restaurants, or any congested public areas! It's not just about the COVID-19! The flu has proved to be detrimental this year, so please think of others before ...choosing to go out! Here are our guidelines: *If you have traveled outside of the country within the last 30 days *If you have experienced any flu-like symptoms within the last 7 days *If you have had a fever of 100.4 F within the last 48 hours If any of these apply to you, PLEASE let us know and we will gladly reschedule you, without financial penalty. We see patients of all kinds; some with suppressed immune systems (patients with cancer, asthma, heart conditions, elderly patients, infants that are brought to their parent's appointments, etc)! If you are unsure if you should come in or not, don't hesitate to call our office and ask! We are here to help and do our best to keep everyone healthy!
