I haven't been to the dentist in a very... - by Rio E. I haven't been to the dentist in a very long time so I was a bit apprehensive. I went on Yelp and started my search. I found Dr. Myra C Luna and read all the positive reviews and decided to call for an appointment. The minute I walked in they welcomed me and made me feel at ease, especially during Covid. Everything was very clean and I felt that everyone's safety was their number 1 priority. The front desk staff was very ...friendly from my phone call inquiry to the day of questions. Araceli gave me a tour of the place before doing my xrays and made me feel relaxed, she talked to me like we've known each other for awhile. Dr. Luna came in and we just started talking about life, general questions, family etc...it was nice to know that she wanted to know about me, as a person, not just a patient. She discussed with me what needed to be addressed right away and what can be done later down the line. My next stop was Jessica for cleaning, she explained to me everything that she was going to do and always stopped to asked how I was doing. I told her that pain wasnt my friend and she did an awesome job of not making me feel any. I've been going here for close to 10 years... - by Janet M. I've been going here for close to 10 years now and I live in Torrance and they're located in Anaheim, a bit of a drive but I don't mind. I love this place, people are nice, clean and equipments are all up todate. Dr. Luna is very sympathetic, caring and very understanding taking care of my teeth. She does wonderful job, she explains everything as to why they are doing such procedure. I am very scared of needles and v...ery sensitive to pain, so they always make me feel comfortable and make sure I don't feel any pain. I just love their compassion and how they maintain the cleanliness of their office and the work ethics that her staffs have is great! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a dentist. We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so when you recei...ve care, it's both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection we follow in our practice to keep patients staff safe. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and occupational safety and Health Administration (OSHA). we follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. Due to the widespread outbreak of COVID-19, Myra C. Luna DDS, Inc. has updated some of our daily procedures. You'll still receive the same exemplary service from our dedicated team, however, to ensure the safety of all our patients here are some changes we have implemented: - Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be ask those same questions again when you are in the office. - We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed. - You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. - Appointments will be managed to allow social distancing between patients. That might mean the you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. - Check in process: you have to call us once you arrive at the parking lot. We don’t recommend patients waiting on the lobby. Accompaniments must wait outside or in the car. - We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception are at any one time.
