In surgical training, we were taught to do whatever it takes to take care of our patients with no task too menial or small. That mentally has always stuck with me. My first job was a janitor and a bagger for a grocery store. One thing about our practice is even though we have patients traveling from all over the world to see us, is that we are normal everyday people.
