Daily Devotional: "But God is Faithful." 1 Co 10:13 Its Just Part Of Life's Journey- He wil be faithful to you in the delivery room, in the operating room, in the nursing home, in unemployment line, in the criminal proceedings, and in the divorce court. The Psalmist wrote:"I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of The Lord in the land of the living. Wait on The Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart"(Ps 27:13-14) Even when Abraham died, God remembered His promise and blessed his children down through the generations. Why is this important to know? Because when you begin to see Gods faithfulness to you, it will make you want to be faithful to Him.

Daily Devotional "I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me." Php 3:12NIV: "Unhealthy Comparisons"- Your future success is predicated on your ability and willingness to walk in the company of greatness and be inspired by it rather than frustrated by it. The only course you can run and win is the course God has give you!

Daily Devotional: "And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die." (Genesis 33:13 KJV) How to succeed in business(2)- Dr. John Maxwell shared a prayer at a recent birthday party. Lord, as I grow older I wanna be known as....thoughtful rather than gifted, loving versus quick or bright, gentle versus powerful, a listener more than a great communicator, available rather than a hard worker, sacrificial instead of succuessful, reliable not famous, content more than driven, self-controlled rather than exciting, generous instead of rich, compassionate more than competent." And that's a prayer you should pray too. Be Blessed

Daily Devotional: "Know the state of your flocks." Pr 27:23NKJV How to succeed in business- Sheep and cattle have to be handled differently. Sheep require tending. Cattle do just fine when they're given good grazing land and left alone. To fulfill your dream, you must "know" the people you work with. Whether they're partners or patrons, bosses or colleagues, clients or constituents, customers or critics, people need to be identified and managed according to their talents and their temperament. So what kind of people belong on your team? Moses needed Joshua; Naomi needed Ruth. The idea of the self-made person is a myth. Chris Hodges says," A dream is a compelling vision you see in your heart, that's too big accomplish without the help of others." Be Blessed

Daily Devotional: "Motives are weighed by the Lord." Pr 16:2NIV God looks at your heart - Henry Blackaby tells the story of a self-righteous man who prayed:"Lord, there's something wrong. I read the Bible, pray regularly, attend church faithfully and always give charity, yet I don't have much. My brother doesn't do any of these things, yet he's got tons of money. How come you've given him do much and me little?" After a pause a voice said, "Because you're a sanctimonious(Makin...g a show of being morally superior to other people) pain in the neck!"The Bible says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"(Jas 4-6NKJV) God looks at your heart's intent; He judges your motives. You can sit in church with a heart that's far from God. Check your heart! Everything you do must be motivated by love for him and for others. So look beyond your actions to what lies behind them. Ask God to show you what He sees. Be Blessed

Daily Devotional: "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts." Col 3:15NIV Operating By The Peace Rule- If you don't have peace about it, don't proceed! Often peace is all God will give you to let you know whether you're in or out of his will. So how can you operate by the peace rule? "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything ; tell God your needs and don't forget to thank him for answers. Prayers transfers the problem from you to Jesus. "Let him have all ...your worriers and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you. Be careful- watch out for the attacks from Satan...Stand firm when he attacks"(1Pe5:7-9TLB). When Jesus said for the third time, "It is written,"we read, "The devil left him,and angels came and attended him"(v.11 NIV). So here's the question: How well do you know God's Word? Be Blessed

Daily Devotional: "God is...a very present help in trouble." Ps 46:1NKJV Walking on Water(3) Let's observe two final things: (1) Bewteen the dead and the devastation, look for the Deliverer. Picture a boat lashed by huge waves, and frightened disciples who thought they were going under. They forgot the promise: "God is...a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear"(vv.1-2 NKJV) (2) God's best always requires facing what you fear. Jesus called Peter to come to H...im. Peter walked toward him. But there's always a moment after you step out in faith when you hear,"What if I'm not up to this?" Peter heard it, the waves began to engulf him. Panicked, he called and Jesus immediately reduced him. Peter wasn't drowning; he was learning and growing! When you walk by faith, even failures will lead to success. So step out with Jesus; He wont let you drown. Be Blessed

Daily Devotional: "The boat was......buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it." Mt 14:24 NIV What's buffeting your life today - loss, guilt, lonliness, financial reversal, illness, addiction, rejection? We cry out to God in fearful situations just as the disciples did while on the boat. Jesus may have been out of sight but He was never out of touch. Jesus was already praying to the Father on their behalf, just as He is today on your behalf. (Heb 7:25 NIV). To "walk by faith, not by sight" means you'll sometimes walk in darkness without visible cues. Trust God and know that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are interceding for you (Ro 8:26 NIV). Trust Him, don't try to trace Him. Be Blessed

Daily Devotional: "Be strong and of good courage." Dt 31:6NKJV Be Courageous- on the morning of September 11, 2001, United Flight 93 from Newark to San Franciso was hijacked by terrorists who claimed to have a bomb. Todo Beamer, a thirty-two-year old businessman, picked up a phone and reached Lisa Jefferson, a GTE supervisor. He informed her they were going to "jump on" the hijacker. Beamer asked her to pray the Lord's Prayer with him. He also made her call his wife, Lisa, an...d tell her that he love her and their two little boys. Dropping the phone saying "Jesus help me." Therr were screams, then silence. United Flight 93 crashed killing all forty-four on board. Of the four hijacked planes that morning, theirs was the only one that failed to hit its target. Those heroes showed courage- at the highest level. Whatever you are facing today, be courages, "for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you." Be Blessed

Daily Devotional: "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." 2 Co 12:9 NLT What's Your Greatest Weakness? Self-help gurus assure us that we can overcome any weakness, so it must be true, right? Look around you! The evidence doesn't show it. What we have seen, however, are people who, with God's help, have changed lives by building on time-tested scriptural principles. For example, when an addict stays clean, does that mean they no longer vulnerable in that a...rea? No, it just means they have filled the vacuum with something better. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. Constantly dwelling on weakness just reinforces it, where's applying the scriptural solution brings results. And the good news is, you don't have to do it alone. God is available to help you. He told Paul,"My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." See more

Daily Devotional: "My son...was lost, and is found." Lk 16:24 The Lost and Found Column- Jesus tells us the story of the lost son. The interesting thing about him is that he knew he was lost, and knew his way home. Only when he squandered his inheritance and ended up in a pigpen do we read:"When he came to his senses, he said...'I will...go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned." Backslider, though you have walked away from God, He is waiting to welcome you home. So, you have a decision to make. Though you're disappointed in yourself and ashamed before God you've failed, you can come back home. And you can come today. Be Blessed
