Picking an arbitrary time like 6pm to cease nourishing oneself makes about as much sense as a rule to never buy gas for your car after 6pm even if you drive at night. No wonder people so often find themselves screwed, out of gas, and scratching their heads on the side of the road. Put a little thought into what you are doing and why. If you workout and deplete your body's glycogen stores then eating a reasonable amount of carbohydrate afterwards will ALWAYS initially go toward REPLENISHING those carbohydrate stores and will NOT be stored as fat....NO MATTER WHAT HOUR IN THE DAY OR NIGHT IT IS.
