Paying it Forward: Drivers For Survivors has a solid wooden table with removable leaves that adjust the table length substantially, from standard to conference table size - as well as 6 matching wooden chairs. We also have wooden hutch that matches very closely in color. Both are available to donate to another interested nonprofit.... If interested, please feel free to email info@ driversforsurvivors.org. #driversforsurvivors Drivers For Survivors has a great opportunity before us as we participate in the annual Ducks forBucks Benefit Race. Not only does this event support Drivers For Survivors financially, it also provides prizes for the lucky winners, gives us a venue to share our mission with the community, and solicit new volunteers. This year’s event will be held virtually on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 at 1:00 PM at www.duckrace.com/Fremont.... 2020 Duck Adoption Information: Adoption Price per Duck: $5.00 or 6 for $25.00 How is the Duck Adoption Transaction Completed via online (easiest for everyone)? Visit the Drivers For Survivors Team Page at https://www.duckrace.com/Fremont/teams/9663 and select Sponsor a Duck Now! Submit payment via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express How is the Duck Adoption Transaction Completed (via paper entry form)? Customer fills out the Duck Adoption Form Customer gives DFS the payment (cash, or check) Check made payable to Ducks for Bucks Race Make sure the Customer signs the check, include with paper entry form. Tear off the Duck Adoption Form and Envelope put payment and form in the envelope Give Customer the rest of the form back- it’s their proof of purchase and has their lucky number on it. ***Looking for Volunteer-Companion Drivers For Tomorrow, September 9, 2020!*** Drivers For Survivors needs Volunteer-Companion Drivers tomorrow for cancer patients who need help getting to and from their treatment appointments. We are still trying to cover 1 ride for Wednesday, September 9th. Can you help with the need below?... 1. A Fremont client whose interests is socializing needs a ride to Hayward for a quick appointment. Pickup time is 1:15 PM, and the appointment is from 1:45-2:45PM. Please call 510-896-8056 if you can help. If you are not already signed up as a DFS volunteer-companion driver, please contact us as soon as possible as we need to perform a background check.
