Just finished these business card holders out of Red Western cedar and redwood burl. I sanded them down to 220 grit, and put 2coats of varathene gloss finish.

The 1st piece that you see is a hallway table that's made with bamboo, wormwood and a red Western cedar root top, filled with shells, arrowheads and other cool stuff. All this is sealed and protected in bar tuff polymer resign. The red Western cedar pendulum clock got honerable mention. The cool looking maple burl table got me 1st place and $600 bucks. It's loaded with beautiful grain and a neat little tide pool. The top is sealed with 2 coats of bar tuff polymer resign. Please check out my website or better yet stop by.
