Ankle ABCs are a great exercise to build ankle stability and strength. You can perform this exercise anytime throughout the day - even during zoom conferences! Having a strong ankle complex reduces the risk of injuries and allows for more stability during your walks and runs. Have you tried Ankle ABCs before? #Chiropractor #SportsChiropractor #Chiropractic #Rehab #RunnerDoctor #RunningInjury #HalfMarathon #Marathon #Pasadena #RunWithUs

Cupping is a great soft tissue treatment method used widely in the sporting world. Cupping creates a negative pressure on the surface of your skin which creates a suction effect on the top layers of your skin. This suction effect increases blood circulation, speeds up muscle recovery and helps relax tight muscles. Make sure you consult with your healthcare provider before starting any treatment plan. Have you tried cupping before? #DeLaCruzChiropractic #Cupping #SoftTissue #rehabilitation #CuppingAndExercise #Movement #Chiropractic #Chiro #SportsChiropractic

The Palloff Press is a great core strengthening and stabilization exercise. You can perform it with a partner or on your own if you tie the resistance band to a stable object. Share, comment and ask questions #DeLaCruzChiropractic #RunnerExercise #Core #Stabilization #PalloffPress #fitness

Cervicogenic headaches can disrupt your work, study time and personal time. Cervicogenic headaches are headaches that can come from tightness, shortening, and inhibition of your neck muscles. Forward head posture is often caused by prolonged usage of a computer, a cell phone (especially if you’re looking down), reading a book or newspaper and a lack of strengthening. Perform these four exercises to help decrease tension in your neck and reduce the chances of you getting a c...ervicogenic headache. 1. Chin tucks - Sit up tall, tuck you chin in to create a double chin and hold for 30 secs 2. Bruggers - Sit at the edge of your chair with your feet about 4 ft and sit up tall. Bring your elbow to your side and rotate your shoulder back. Hold for 30 secs. 3. Doorway stretch - stand near a doorway and place your arm, in a 90* angle on the side of the doorway. Rotate your body away from the door to feel a nice stretch to your pec muscles. Hold for 30 secs. 4. Lateral neck stretch - bring your arm above your head and pull to one side, hold for 30 secs. #DeLaCruzChiropractic #Chiropractic #Headache #Headaches #Cervicogenicheadaches #muscle #tightness #inhibition #stretch #exercise #chintuck #Brugger #doorway @ Dr. Andres T. Working at home (or at work) with a work station that is not ergonomically correct for your body may cause you to experience an array of neck, mid back, low back, shoulder, elbow and wrist problems. Make sure you take the necessary steps to correct your work station to avoid developing these problems. Chiropractic adjustments, mobilizations and correction exercises (in addition to fixing your work station) can help decrease that ache you’re experiencing from a work station t...hat is not up to par. P.s. it is also important to rule out other possible contributing factors and conditions to your aches and pains before administering a treatment plan. #DeLaCruzChiropractic #SportsChiro #Adjustment #ThoracicSpine #BackPain #LowBackPain #NeckPain #MidbackPain
