Our struggling restaurants can't even serve outdoors. What can we do to help make the Holidays in the South Bay more festive? We're being discouraged, as we were in November at Thanksgiving, to not gather with others outside our household as Covid is rising faster now than ever.... Now for the bad news... KIDDING. That WAS the bad news. The GOOD NEWS IS... Since we didn't have a fireworks show this year on the Manhattan Beach Pier, I'm bringing you some re-runs. Some festive videos of holiday lights and last years finale of the Manhattan Beach Fireworks show. The fireworks show has been a long standing annual event. Manhattan Beach doesn't do a 4th of July show, they chose to do a show in December... which is very festive and Downtown Manhattan Beach usually fills up for that show. Not this year... further hurting the downtown businesses who are all struggling to stay open. So here it is... A little Festivus for the rest of us! I'm bringing some levity in these unchartered times. Sit back... and spend a whole 2 minutes with me and a kick ass finale to the fireworks show. Shot from South Manhattan Beach Strand.
