Hi All, From Joy Motts: The city council got the votes to get 25k to start environmental work on the Townsquare, and to look at cost for irrigation for the area. Some good news and progress going forward! Thanks Joyann Motts for the good work on pushing this forward and possibility of good results! We will look forward to more news as it happens!
Watch this space! There are things going on! We will persevere!
Council Member Lamar A. Thorpe Has this FB page for constituent services.
We haven't given up the quest yet folks! Still lobbying for a Townsquare here! We would love to get the food trucks here once a week! We deserve to bring more f...un to the Rivertown! But if you're looking for fun the Rivertown is having the Easter Egg Hunt TODAY from 12-4! Bring the kids and enjoy the beautiful Rivertown area shops and river TODAY See more
Congratulations to Joyann Motts who has just been sworn (by her daughter Rachel) in as our new Councilmember and Mayor Pro Tem! She has exceeded our expectations and gotten the most votes, over 12,000! She is going to be a great representative for our city and especially for our Rivertown Area! It's looking very promising that we will realize our dream of getting a Rivertown Town Square in our future! Thanks for everyone's effort on her and our behalf! And all who voted for her!
Found this little gem while doing some searches online. An account of the founding of Antioch from the Oakland Tribune in 1960.
Vote for Joy! She cares for our town and it's people!
Today! Go see Joy and support her! She needs her friends and her new friends!
Congratulations to the Celebrate Antioch Foundation, and the Rivertown Merchants who hosted the Rivertown Peddlers Faire yesterday! A Fabulous event! We want more great events such as this to bring more people down to the Rivertown, and to help stimulate the cute shops for all of our friends who shop, eat here and enjoy our fabulous River and venue! We would love to include this lot on 2nd and E. street as part of our venue as well! Please vote for Joy Motts for city council as she will definitely help to rejuvenate the downtown for the whole city to enjoy! Thanks also to Mike Gabrielson and Debbie Blaisure for all the work on this event!
Come down to the Rivertown area on September 15th! There will be many houses with yard sales going on. And the merchants in the G. Street area will also be hosting Many peddlers on the street with great goods for sale! Come to the Rivertown and see what we're all about! And pick up some goodies along the way!
We work with Joy! Vote for Joy Motts!
Been a long stretch.....hopefully the TownSquare will come to fruition !!
