Downtown Dogs

Congratulation to our March Top Dog, Lilac! She is 4 1/2 year old Golden Doodle. She has been coming to Downtown Dogs for four years and comes from a family friend in Colorado. She is great with the commands sit, down, and (mostly) wait, and is a master at "take it" and roll over! She loves going on walks and hikes, is the most snuggliest, enjoys snacks, and getting in a good chew session on a tasty bone. Lilac is such a smart girl! One day, without prompting, she figured out how to open all of the doors with French handles in the house, so her humans had to change all of the door handles so she couldn't just open them whenever she wanted to! We love Lilac here at DD, and just simply adore the big grin that she greets us with every time she's here!

Happy Birthday to all our friends celebrating their special days this week! We wish them all a day full of treats and happy tail wags.

Congratulations to our January Top Dogs: Boo-Skywalker and Yoda-Master! These half brothers are 7 and 6 years old respectively, and are Australian Labradoodles who come from Pinelodge Labradoodles in Portland, Oregon. They have been a part of DD's pack for 6 years, that's almost their whole lives! Boo and Yoda are joined at the paw, and are absolutely inseparable. They explore together, play together, eat together... you name it, and you won't see one doing any activity wit...hout the other. They even run side by side in unison while on the play floor during daycare! They both have sit, shake-hands, come, touch, and spin in their command arsenal, and their favorite toys are Christmas stuffed bears (so cute!) This curly duo doesn't really like to take baths and would rather spend their time playing fetch, which they could easily do all day, every day! These brothers are so sweet and we love them here at Downtown Dogs! See more

Congratulations to our October Top Dog Tucker!! He is a giant lovebug! Tucker is a three years old Bernedoodle (that's a mix between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle!) and is one of the largest (and cuddliest) canines we have at Downtown Dogs. Tucker began attending daycare regularly when he was six months old, and we've been lucky enough to watch him grow up ever since. Congradulations to our October Top Dog Tucker!! He is a giant lovebug! Tucker is a three years old Bern...edoodle (that's a mix between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle!) and is one of the largest (and cuddliest) canines we have at Downtown Dogs. Tucker began attending daycare regularly when he was six months old, and we've been lucky enough to watch him grow up ever since. Tucker is a playful guy who loves wrestling with other dogs his size, though there aren't too many! Thankfully, Tucker is happy to play with dogs smaller than himself too, and does a great job wrestling nicely with the other active guys and gals in Ruff City. Not only is Tucker a wonderful wrestler, he is a STUPENDOUS snuggler! The moment he enters the play floor, he greets staff with the sweetest rubs and loves when we give him some big hugs to match his big heart. See more
