Downey Greek Food Festival

Due to the current circumstances with COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have decided to reschedule the Downey Greek Food Festival to September 12 & 13, 2020. We apologize about the inconvenience, but in order to begin planning for the festival, we need to schedule vendors & workers, pull permits, order items/food, etc., which usually starts about 3-4 months before the event. Since we do not know what the next few months will look like, this is not something we will be able to do. We hope you understand, and we look forward to seeing you in September!

Thank you to everyone that came out to the Downey Greek Food Festival this past weekend and attended the activities in the cultural center. We enjoyed having you and sharing our culture and traditions with you. A special thank you to Nicholas Manolelis and Koinonia Seminar for partnering with us to bring you the Cretan dance workshop. Thank you Stacie Zoumberakis and George Zoumberakis for sharing your dance knowledge and the traditions of Crete. Eleni Constantine Manolelis, ...Joanna Koulos, Penny Marougas thank you for letting us borrow some of your costumes. They added beauty to our cultural room. - -, we enjoyed the traditional and very ornate wedding bread that you mailed to us in time for our workshop- ! Pavlidis Michael, LeVecke Wine, Beer & Spirits, the wines you provided for the cooking demonstrations and cheese pairing were amazing. See you all next year as we explore Peloponissos.
