So proud of these future Court Reporters! These graduates recently qualified to take the Certified Shorthand Reporters examination. The test is 200 words per minute and they must pass the test with 97.5 percent accuracy. Near perfect!!! #downeyunified #dascte #dascourtreporting

Voice writing differs from traditional forms of stenography in that a court reporter can speak their notes into a sound-dampening mask. Don't be surprised if you see a voice writer in a courtroom in the near future.
