UPDATE: Bella and Casper has just been adopted to a very loving home. Thank you for all your shares and interest. It's the best biexrthday gift ever! Wanted: A... loving and active home of our own: Our names are Casper and Bella. We are an awesome team! We are looking for a forever, loving home together. We love to hike off leash, play fetch, wrestle and we go to Tahoe Best Friends (doggie daycare) very often. We also love to cuddle and relax with our new family. We would love to have a home with a fenced back yard and an active family. We loved all dogs, are excellent companions for kids and tolerate cats. Our aunt Paige wants us to go to a loving home and prefers that you are financial stable and own your home. We must be adopted together as we grew up as puppies. Our preference would be to stay in Tahoe as we are welcome to come to Tahoe Best Friends for FREE ANYTIME. They love us there and Paige (our aunt) wants us to have unlimited doggie daycare and Boarding (because she loves us so much). However, if you live outside the area, Paige will drive us to our new home to meet you and make sure you love us as much as we will love you. A little bit about us: Casper, I am a purebred German Shepherd, 8 years old male, neutered, very healthy, up to date with all my vaccines and I am very well-trained dog. Bella, Shepard mix (mostly shepherd), 7 years old female, spayed, very healthy, up to date with all vaccines and is also very well trained. We would love to meet you and you can visit us at Tahoe Best Friends by appointment. Please call Paige at 530 318 4760. If you are out of town, please call Paige for a meet and greet at your home. Thomas is an amazing 16 month old, 65 lb boy who was surrendered to the shelter in October. This sweet little trooper has sat on the adoption floor every since with not a single inquiry. Despite his wonderful kennel presentation, soft and gentle demeanor, and outstanding dog skills, Thomas co...ntinues to be overlooked for reasons no one can understand. After being in the shelter for 100 days, this poor guy is starting to decline. This sweet boy LOVES other dogs and has great skills but staff are worried frustration/stress will cause him to lose his socialization, so he needs to get out! He’s an awesome dog who was good with kids in his previous home and is goofy and polite. Why he hasn’t been snatched up is a complete mystery.
