For me, I firmly believe to become successful in the profession, then ultimately we are a result-driven entity where the only thing that really matters at the end of the day is: 1) Does the provider actually have the knowledge, skills and hands-on training to determine what is the actual cause of the... reason/s that brought you to seek Chiropractic care vs other forms treatment in the first place? 2) Did the provider express to me a logical, practical and a reasonable treatment plan that will address my health issues in the SHORTEST amount of time as possible. 3) Communication is one of the most important aspects in healthcare. With that in mind, did the provider communicate to me in a lingo that I could easily decipher and understand. Because if the patient doesn’t 100% fully understand to finer details and nuances of his/her health issues, then there’s no way you’ll reach your mutually agreed end goal/s. 4) How long will this process take from my initial visit to my final visit. We all understand that our body’s physiologically require about one to six months to embrace the structural and physiological changes where long lasting great health and wellness is truly a reality. 5) How much will these services cost me? When addressing your health issues, I always tell my patients to seek out a second or many times, a third opinion. What could it hurt to do so whereas you have your sanity and piece of mind to be truly fulfilled that you’re getting exactly what you’ve paid for. 6) Research the physician in question. Nowadays with so much information that is readily available to each and every one of us with a push of a finger, it’s a must that you are entrusting your health to an individual that has the credentials (education, training and experience) to provide you with the best service that you could possibly seek. As I reflect on my day today, I’ve learned that I cannot cure everyone of my patients from their respective health issues. Although my intent will always striving for that goal, in this profession and as the ol saying goes, it takes two to Tango. This definitely applies in my professional realm as I can only provide the correct and appropriate vehicle to travel and thus arrive to great health and overall wellness. But if the patient isn’t willing to take my plan to heart an...d follow it through to the T, then that is the point where I have to process the immature innate self defense mechanism of projection. Well, I’ve been going to you for so and so amount of time and I’m still not feeling any better. But if the patient refuses to follow my specific instructions throughout their process, then I must humble myself to address the situation in the most appropriate fashion to achieve the mutually desired goals in the most reasonable amount of time as possible. Humility for myself is one of most trying human virtues to effectively apply at the most appropriate time because usually it is needed in times of chaos, confusion, disorder, disagreements and so on, so forth. But today, I was presented with a situation where the patient was essentially putting the blame on me for his persistent nagging low back pain. Despite the fact that this particular patient had been a no show for several appointments where I were suppose to teach him a variety of core stretching and strengthening exercises to lessen his suffering, I had to look deep within myself as how I can prepare a reasonable plan to achieve that goal as soon as possible. Ultimately, I was able to do so. At the end of the day, my learning experience is that it is on me as the service provider to check my ego in at the door, approach each trying situation with an open mind, pure heart and honest intent. When I can accomplish that, then the rest of the encounter will happen just as it should

Each day that I have the opportunity to enhance the life of another whether it’s by my deeds, actions or words, it’s a reminder as to his fortunate and blessed I am to be able to do what do on a daily basis. Stay blessed. Yours in health

Today is a great day as I'm so blessed and humbled to a member of an organization that is dedicated towards the advancement of spinal research and development with regards to noninvasive treatment and management protocols.

When I sit here and reflect on the up’s and down’s of my career, I must admit the year that I was chosen for this prestigious award from such a respected organization absolutely hands down was the pinnacle of a long and very rewarding journey #selfreflection #hardworkndedication #alwayspaysoff
