A client years ago observed that photography was problem solving. Here are some of my solutions to 41 puzzles I got to solve in 3 1/2 minutes each including families setting coats and stuff on a table. These were photographed at an Advent family event last week. No clue who would walk in the door next and I had to get them arranged as best I could and then shoot my series of images. Yes - I wore a mask the whole evening, the hall's doors were wide open to outdoors and only one family allowed in at a time. Everyone came in wearing masks and some even chose to document 2020 by wearing theirs for their first shots. The whole event was masked and extra distanced.

How much fun to shoot some "magical & ethereal" engagement images for Katie & Ryan! Thanks for the trust and the challenge! These are quick edits - finals will be a little more magical.

What a great adventure today shooting engagement photos of Poni & Will. They did their research and had lots of great ideas and a new location for me - Eaton Canyon in the hills above Pasadena. Very limited admission by reservation only. We saw very few people. Everyone had masks on trail; mine was on the whole time. Check out the waterfall images at the end!
