To the valued guests of Divine Reflections Salon, With a heavy heart, I have news to share that is a lot less cheerful than I’d like it to be. Even with all of my efforts to fight against an avalanche of challenges after my shop closed in March, I now have no choice but to close Divine Reflections permanently. ... As our community began to Shelter-In-Place, many businesses were deemed non-essential and were forced to cease operation. Unfortunately, my business is in that non-essential category. It is heartbreaking to see small businesses have to close their doors permanently, something that I now have great empathy for. I close my shop’s doors with incredible sadness, as well as respect for what caused it to happen. Above all else, protecting the lives of others is the most important. When I opened Divine Reflections Salon by Pudding Creek Beach in 2010, it was my mom, and Victoria Reynolds and I in our perfect little first location. As my business and salon team grew, we relocated to a larger building in 2016. There, wonderful 7 women found happiness in a welcoming, kind, gossip-free environment. May 5th (2020) was my salon‘s 10 year anniversary, and it was a very surreal experience celebrating that milestone in Lock Down at home. It took a Pandemic to stop us, which I think is a victory on its own. We have a decade of beautiful memories that we will cherish. We witnessed families grow, we watched friendships and special bonds blossom that will last a lifetime. Thank you all, our loyal customers, for supporting us for 10 fantastic years. You helped my DREAM come true! You have touched me in ways that cannot be repaid or expressed with words. My shop has been my passion, and now I look forward to my next passion with great optimism homeschooling my two amazing boys.
