Discovery Tree Schools will be closed for a Winter Holiday Wednesday, December 23rd- December 25th. We hope that everyone has a safe and healthy Winter Break.

Hands on Sensory Play is so important to help children learn. One of the best things about being a teacher is that we get to embrace our inner child and get messy. Here is a link that we found to help your child express themselves during the upcoming Winter Holiday.

This month our Author of the month is Mo Willems. One of the reasons that children react to his style of writing is, his books are entertaining, repetitive and something that children can relate to . If you have not gotten the chance, take a moment to look into downloading a copy from the public library if available. Here is just a few books that he has written.

As a teacher we have the opportunity to see the magic. Sit back and take a moment to appreciate the stories that your child tells. Children have a way of seeing things with a different perspective, exploring life and discovering new ways to solve problems.
