Our new class Creative Art 1.5 just opened for enrollment and our students are having a blast. This class is for some of our more experienced students who are still working on their drawing skills. Lately we've been drawing lots of exotic animals and last week we practiced drawing leopards, our kids did an awesome job and can't wait to get back to drawing!

The studio has been growing so much the past few months, and we're starting up so many new classes to accommodate for all our kids and their different skill levels and interests! One of the new classes we opened up over the summer is a new Creative Art II class, with 7 very serious girls who love the challenge of shading and composition. We recently did a ladybug -- check it out!

With the new school year rolling in, we wanted to show everyone what we've been up to. We had a phenomenal summer with all the camps we held, and we got to meet so many wonderful kids. We're hoping to see some of our campers in our year-round, weekly classes!

We tried something a little different this past week! We did chameleons in Creative Art I and all the kiddos got to outline their pictures in oil pastels. Doing this helped everyone control their colors a lot better and produced these beautiful multicolored reptiles!

The students in Character Illustration worked on an interesting project for the past few weeks: a cobra chasing a bunny. Aiden and Joylyn did a wonderful job with the dimension of the rocks in the background and the perspective on the cobra. It's safe to say they're learning a lot of new things with every piece!
