Katana layered zirconia crowns to close the diastema and to get an ideal lingual surface. The first choice was an Emax but the right lateral was very dark compared to the left lateral after the preparation.

Deep recurrent caries under the amalgam filling. TheraCal LC was placed as a liner and at the same time to mask the dark amalgam stain that could show through the translucency of the composite restoration. Tip: Hue-Friedy clamp number 24 was used on the second molar so that there will be enough room to fit the blue ring from Garrison Composi-Tight 3D Fusion matrix system on the distal surface of the first molar.

Very deep cavity. No history of any sensitivity or pain. All the soft caries were removed with a carbide round burs using a slow speed handpiece. TheraCal LC was placed as a liner and the tooth was restored with a composite filling.
