Diablo alum, Ricky Larocca, is the strongest guy you've never heard of. He's also the toughest lifter that I've ever known, by far. Ricky has had dozens of surgeries related to a horrific injury he suffered years ago, carrying a 2000 lbs (plus) frame in a Strongman competition. Undeterred, Ricky continued on training, even after losing his leg. And with his one leg Ricky still posted lifts of a 700 pound deadlift, and over 600 pounds in the Good Morning. Team Diablo made what has become our annual trek to PSM Barbell in Utah for the UPA Kickoff Classic. Run by veteran Coach and competitor Jason Gibson this has become my favorite meet. Thank you for being a part of Diablo Barbell! We really do appreciate your commitment to us and to yourselves everyday. We have some new Holiday Hours this week.
