#Repost @feliciaduzmyhair DARKER FOR FALL I was STRATEGIC ABOUT taking Lily darker. She wanted the chocolate brown I gave her for her wedding. But I know she likes tones and dimensions so I dropped everything her base3 levels and her highlights 2 levels. I pulled some of her highlights out so when February comes around and she says I want to go a little lighter I’m not fighting to get her lighter tones it will be easy to find and pick through what’s already there. ... if you color your hair at home for grey coverage do the ROOTS ONLY. DON’T bring it down to the ends of your hair. ESPECIALLY if you know you like to see different tones in your hair. QUESTIONS?? COMMENTS ?? #hifeliciaduzmyhair

#Repost @hairartby_stefanie.c Color correction! like many people I’m seeing these days my client came in with some at home color and highlights that needed a little help(forgot a before again)There were several issues that we had to tackle. Patchy bleach application in some areas, think leopard spots. Brassy gold highlights. and multiple colors throughout Unfortunately we had very little time to work with. So we chose a route that best fit my clients schedu...le. I went in and and added fresh highlights to only the top section of her head while simultaneously adding in a deeper color to even out the multiple colors present. Finally I gave her a nice iridescent tone to counter act the brass for brighter highlights. I made the client aware that because of the time crunch realistically the outcome wouldn’t be perfect but both she and I were really happy with the results.
