August 13 is Fidel Castro's birthday. He lived to see the US begin to normalize relations w Cuba and put an end to hysterical anti-communist bullshit. You all s...hould visit Cuba. I did last year (and 14 years ago). It is a fabulous place with nice hotels and great restaurants. While the fools who run things in the US tried to make Fidel a pariah, Europeans were building resorts, trading, and it became a prime European vacation spot. Once again our moronic government thought they could starve Fidel out but couldn't control the rest of the world doing business and vacationing with the Cubans. Happy Birthday Fidel. You outlasted the idiots who ran things here and finally saw America elect an intelligent pragmatic President. Now suddenly American business is rushing to do deals (though the Europeans got the prime locations) and American tourists are rushing to ride in a mint 57 Chevy Bel Aire convertible. Go see it for yourself. Pretty soon there will be direct flights from Miami and cruise ships will be going there. See more
