Please sign our petition. This fire occurred immediately behind the home owned by my son and daughter-in-law where they live with my most favorite grandson and... granddaughter. The fire started at an illegal homeless encampment on vacant land. It is an area anyone driving down Sunset or Railroad knows is frequented by a homeless issue. I have been told that the land owners have not been as cooperative as they should be with the City in providing either a deterrent to encampments or providing authority to the City to immediately remove trespassing homeless people. The next Suisun City Council meeting is this coming Tuesday. See more

Today's PSA - its snake season. Watch for rattlers but also be mindful that there are other beneficial snakes. Don't kill them just to kill them. Make sure its a hazardous situation first. (I don't care for snakes myself but certainly don't condone killing just because.)
