Thank you to all our members who joined us today in celebration of an historic 2020 election and to hear from Rep. Jimmy Panetta. This was our final event for 2020 and we ended the year with a bang! DWMC longtime members and many newcomers came together to dicuss "Next Steps" to strengthen our democracy as we recover and rebuild post Trump. Our commitment as club members is to rebuild better in regards to social equity, economic justice, racial justice, environmental justice ...and reducing and reversing the threat of climate change. As VP-elect Kamala Harris said last Saturday, our democracy is only as strong as our willingness to fight for it! Attached is an article the Congressman referenced today - a warning of what not to do in advance of the critical Georgia senate races. Thank you, Rep.
