Dear Delta Families, In times like these, where I feel utterly helpless, I find that there are really only two things I can do 1) ask for help, or 2) be the helper. As such, I am reaching out to connect you with current resources available if you are in need and ways to help our community if you are in a position to do so. At present, 25% of Delta's staff is either in jeopardy of being evacuated or already have been evacuated and many of our families are in this situation a...s well. Those that lose their homes will need basic necessities (in good condition, please) like clothing, toiletries, coins for laundry machines, kitchen items, towels and bedding. If these are things you can contribute (again, good condition only, please), drop them at Delta this M and W from 1 - 3 p.m, or reach out to me to make different arrangements. Delta graduates will be picking up their cap, gown and yard sign on Thursday and Friday! Our art teacher, Kimberly made a beautiful sign for photos! We will take photos also at the Drive Through Diploma Pick up on Wednesday June 10th. Staff are really looking forward to seeing you!
