Have you seen this viral tweet? It says the first picture is what someone with astigmatism sees and the second is what a normal person sees. As with most things on the internet that can be true but only part of the story. Astigmatism is when your prescription in one meridian is different than the other. It can make things look more stretched out in one direction more than the other. It's common for this effect to be more noticeable at night (especially driving at night). Other causes of glare and blurred vision include cataracts, dry eye, keratoconus..etc so make sure to check with your eye doctor to see what's going on with your eyes!
