Friday Fun Facts with #DelphiLA!

Throwback Thursday! Last year, this middle school student did a seminar using a science course from the Delphi curriculum called "Air" with some of our third grade students. It was wonderful to see her become more confident and competent, and great to see the younger students learn so much as they all worked together! #DelphiLA

This week’s Quote of the Week is short, sweet and we believe very relevant during these times. We naturally want every day at school to be a wonderful day for our students, but the fact is, our program reaches far into the future for our true purpose. By the time our students graduate from high school, they have the power and the knowledge to begin making important changes in society, and we actually count on them to do so. It might seem pretty outrageous to think our little microcosm can make a significant difference in the greater macrocosm of life, but as Shakespeare said (and we're pretty sure he was talking about us), Though she be but little, she is fierce!

Flashback Friday!! Every year, Delphi LA participates in the Duck Splash, a fundraiser organized by the Kiwanis, which helps schools and other non-profit organizations collect funds for their activities. Last year, Delphi sold a record number of ducks and we of course celebrated the best sellers Delphi-style: with a lot of cheer!!! It was phenomenal! #DelphiLA

We love Delphi LA because it doesn’t feel like a school, but family instead. We are working together to make sure our children get ready for their future. It’s not just about academic achievement, but it’s about preparing them to face the world. Delphi LA is always there supporting each child to succeed even during the toughest times.
