Laid to rest today one of my former players Adam Clayton. He played for my at Los Alamitos High School and Long Beach City College 17 years ago. It is difficult to understand when we have to say goodbye to someone much younger than we are. But after talking with his dad and remembering my time with him, it made me have a greater appreciation for my role as a coach. Its not just to teach the game of soccer but to share a passion for life with a young athlete and learn about life both on and off the pitch. So a message to every athlete I have had the pleasure to coach over the last 25 years and will have the pleasure to coach. Teqball Sunday Nights is back. With the natural Social Distancing and no contact nature of Teqball. Deft Touch Soccer Center is able to host our Teqball night. Come join us for fun and great touches on the ball. Sunday July 12th 7:30-10pm @ Deft Touch Soccer Center. Just $5 per person. With the increasing demand for our Atheltes to be on Zoom and other platforms to finish their school year and train with their teams. We will only be hosting our 5pm Mon-Fir Zoom Trainings. Our Trainers are available for Private Zoom trainings at the rate of $30 per session. Please contact us or your Deft Touch Trainer if you wish to set up a private training. We have also added a Zoom Goalkeeper session 3:30pm on Fridays. These sessions are $10 per athlete and sign up via Venmo.
