Quarantine time is also family time at the Bergman house. We empathize with the sadness and pain that a lot of families are going through this year, but we are also thankful to God that our family is healthy and together. It's been a blessing to have our daughter back from college for the summer, and to just hang out as a family and learn a new way of communicating with our friends and co-workers. Cooking and eating at home, enjoying the sunshine in our backyard, playing endless late night board games, and more. It's a time we will always remember, and an opportunity to look back at these pictures and realize that there's always a promise of a rainbow after a storm. - Bruce and Joy @seamanteamrealestate #2020quarantinefrontporchphotoproject @ San Diego, California

This is such a bittersweet time. I've always wanted to be a stay at home mom so I'm really enjoying spending more time with my little. It's tough to juggle working full time from home and also tending to my 3 year old, but we live in a multi generational family home so my Mom really steps in to take care of Emmelline most of the day while I'm working. It's so nice to not be missing the little moments, even if my attention is split in opposite directions 5 days a week. I have ...the luxury of enjoying pieces of this time but I feel deeply for the people who can't say the same. I'm baking homemade sourdough bread like a mad woman and getting to cook for my family. I get to lounge around in the living room before work every day instead of rushing out the door. I get to drink my coffee while it's hot, while my daughter sits in my lap, instead of packing it to go. There are pieces of this time that I'm really focusing on enjoying but I do miss people outside my nuclear family. I'm looking forward to kids going back to school, especially if home isn't a pleasant place for them, and I'm looking forward to walking along the ocean with no mask on. But what I'll be looking back on a few months from now will be the days where I was (am) baking, reading, and present with my daughter, not missing a moment for a period in time that I've always wanted for her and for me. - @janineaswan #2020quarantinefrontporchphotoproject @ San Diego, California

This whole quarantine has been bittersweet for me. My son had a baby and I didn’t get to see him for a while. My daughter is going to be having a baby and I won’t be able to see him! I really miss spending time with my oldest grandson and Mommy! On the good side, Alli and I are having a good time bonding together day in and day out. We are watching lots of movies and snuggling on the couch. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! - @konni58

Happy 50th Birthday to my husband! Who would've ever known that we'd be spending his special day under quarantine during a pandemic! Despite our entire world being turned into chaos we've managed to keep safe together as a family!! Forever grateful we've been able to continue working!! We've also stepped up and been helping my 94 yr. old Grandma recover from heart surgery. Thankful for our family and friends who have helped us through the hard days! We are all in this together and remember God doesn't give us anything we can't handle! Psalm 62:8 This to shall pass!! Special thanks to all or first responders on the front lines and thank you @dennacormirephotography so enjoyed our little visit. - @trsalzx2 @2020quarantinefrontporchproject @ Ramona, California

The Wednesday before shelter in place orders happened we decided to list our first home in San Diego! 10 days later to our surprise even during this crazy time we went into contract and made an offer on our new home! We’ve celebrated my birthday along with our 10yr wedding anniversary! Covid-19 has allowed us to be home as a family of 3, work from home and manage to keep a very social 4yr old happy and ALIVE! Never in my wildest dreams did I think that this would happen as many of you, but part of me is grateful for the time we have been able to spend together! Praying for those currently in the front lines, sick, and for those that have lost their jobs unexpectedly! I hope that we all get the opportunity to survive this and see the silver lining! - @rroblesportela #2020quarantinefrontporchphotoproject @ San Diego, California

This was an unexpected change to our everyday routine but a blessing to say the least. Ryan and I work complete opposite schedules so with my work being shut down I am able to be home for afternoon hangs outside, dinner, bath and bedtime. It’s wild. It took some adjusting and we are still trying to figure it all out. I have no idea when I’ll be home again every night so I’m currently working hard on my patience and just taking it one day at a time. What I do know is that I am extra thankful these are the people I get to spend it with. - @breannaleanissa #2020quarantinefrontporchphotoproject @ San Diego, California

What is life like in Quarantine? I can’t say for others but for us it has been very eye opening. It’s opened our eyes to the freedoms we had, the blessings we HAVE most importantly to be thankful for our health. We’ve been lucky enough to not have been impacted with us both still working, however our hearts go out to those who are not as fortunate. We’re helping to support where and when we can in hopes that every little bit helps. Working form home has given me a new appreci...ation for stay at home parents; it is not for the weak but let me preface that with how grateful I am that I get to wake up and spend these days with my girl rather than her be with someone else during this crazy time in our lives. These times bring a lot of uncertainty for most and my hope is that everyone will have faith over fear. We hope everyone stays sane, safe and most of all healthy - @mrs.cromwell @ San Diego, California See more

Hey we are Cory and Korie! As much as we love our home we are definitely missing the great outdoors and can’t wait to go camping and get back on a hiking trail. We are FaceTiming with friends and family to stay connected and look forward to the day we can hug everyone just a little tighter. Laughing together as much as possible has been the best medicine as well as finding small victories with new found hobbies. We are a master of none, but decent at some and having fun; hip... hop dancing, wood working, cross stitching, planting a garden, learning Spanish and becoming better cooks. We are taking time to recognize that this is just a moment in time that will make us, as a world, stronger and a little more kind. - @korie.duke With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts. Like most people, the hardest thing during this time is missing our family. We have been actively involved with our children and grandchildren and it is so difficult to not be able to spend time together. In one of the pictures I’m holding the stuffies that my four grandchildren like to sleep with when they are at Nana and Papa‘s house. The stuffies are special to us because the belonged to our girls when they were growing up. As hard as this is, we have so much to be ...grateful for. Everyone is healthy and we can still keep in touch with through technology. We live in a beautiful region and neighborhood. We are surrounded by nature and trails to explore. And we are surrounded by great neighbors. Both of us are still able to work. Mike was already working at home with Lexmark and now he is graciously sharing his home office with me. (I am set up in our dining room) I am learning how to be a virtual elementary counselor! It’s a big learning curve, but I am so glad to be able to provide support to our school community. I’m such a lucky Nana, I was even able to get a Rad Nana license plate. I my grandkids! Stay well everyone and be sure to practice self care! - @fhjalmarson @ San Diego, California

Watched Tiger King... Built a succulent garden.. Became a homeschool teacher.. Did the deep spring cleaning.. Dyed my hair..... Stocked enough groceries for the apocalypse.. Played all the board games... Drank all the wine... Soaked up all the family time... And now it’s safe to say I’m ready for things to be back to normal; whatever that looks like. I look forward to the day where we don’t question hugs or visiting our elderly loved ones. Until then hold your loved ones close, drink and eat all the things and live your best quarantine life judgement free - @itsmeashleyanne @ San Diego, California See more

Our sweet boy is One today! Although this is definitely not how we envisioned celebrating his first Birthday, we are happy that we are still able to have a small celebration with just us. Life here is moving along, a little differently, but we are navigating through all of this together. Kids miss their friends, I miss their schools, lol. But we are all OK. #firstbirthdayKFA4262020... #familyfirst - @mrs.sdbrando @ San Diego, California See more

So How do the Ragsdales 3 make the most of quarantine? Theme Days!!! From Movie Nights, to Hawaiian Days we pull out all the stops to keep our creative fun loving spirits engaged. Or maybe mostly to appease Mom Today is Camping theme with Hot Dogs, S’mores, and sleeping bags. As we head into our 5th year in San Diego, our #ragadalesocal life continues to be such an adventure. Even if we are missing the extra square footage we had in Texas now more than ever. - @theragsdales3 #2020quarantinefrontporchphotoproject @ San Diego, California

Both Kyle and myself are considered essential workers (I work for a mortgage tech corporation and Kyle works for a company that builds specialized welding equipment). I already worked from home full time but now have our 1 year old at home with me. The first few weeks of quarantine life was a serious challenge (hosting client calls with a crying 1 year old crawling all over you is a new level of crazy). Thankfully Kyle was able to switch shifts at work to be home during the... day so I could get some work done and then he would head to work in the evening and we would alternate baby duty. Although the situation isn’t ideal and fear is a daily visitor, we feel so incredibly fortunate. Fortunate for our families health, job security and to have a home with a backyard to ride out our social distancing. It’s amazing how a pandemic can set your priorities straight real quick and help you focus on what matters most - @marushaeiswald #2020quarantinefrontporchphotoproject @ San Diego, California See more
