Control arms, to over simplify, hold the wheel to the frame of the vehicle. When they break, the wheel will be cocked (see pic 1). *Safety (Long) Post Alert* This is a wheel hub assembly with the bearing inside that we pulled off a customer’s vehicle. When you flick it to spin it, the bearing should continue to spin easily. As you can see in this video, the bearing is starting to seize, stopping it from continuously spinning. If a wheel bearing seizes, significant damage to your vehicle can be done. Your wheel can break off while driving, putting yourself and others in danger. Things to be aware of: yo...u will likely hear a humming type noise come from one, or more, of your wheels. There may even be a slight grinding noise accompanying it. Unfortunately, humming can mean a few things, such as tires. Play it safe. Get it checked out by someone you trust. Finding a bearing problem early, can literally save lives. If you’re unsure, we will go on a test drive with you, so you can point out the noise. We will check your tires and put your vehicle on a rack to check for play and other safety concerns.
